For many reasons CCBill does not allow Merchants to sign up for a CCBill account if their businesses are based in certain countries. The reason for this block is typically because of Fraud, but could also be because of restrictions placed upon us by the US State Department and the Federal Government.
Back to the topYes, CCBill now offers processing for Canadian merchants. Choose the US and Canada Sign Up Process to proceed.
Back to the topNo. This is not required for companies outside of the U.S.
Back to the topYour signed contract and Identification can be returned via fax at 480.449.8801 or you may scan the signed contract and ID samples and attach them to an email. Send the email to contractadmin@ccbill.com.
Back to the topVISA® is an offered payment type with the CCBill service. However, VISA® requires an initial registration fee of $750 and a yearly fee of $500 after that to obtain VISA® sponsored merchant status. This fee applies to High Risk merchants. CCBill does not retain any of these fees and has no power to waive or cancel the fee.
Back to the topYou are not required to process with VISA® and the Merchant Sign Up Process allows you to opt-out of VISA® processing. Simply check the other payment types during the sign up process, leaving VISA® blank.
Back to the topNo, VISA® is the only card type that requires registration and annual fees.
Back to the topIt depends. If your government-issued ID says "Steve", then go ahead. If not, use your given name. For security reasons we require that the name on the contract match the identification exactly. If this criteria is not met, we will likely reject your application.
Back to the topWhen we ask for a Technical Contact we are asking for the name and contact information of the person who will be doing the programming and development of your site and the integration with our systems. This person is sometimes the same as the Principal and sometimes not, depending on your business model. Essentially, if you employ someone to write your code and implement your design, the Technical Contact would be that person.
Back to the topThis information will be used by our technicians to install the necessary CCBill components on your site.
Back to the topCCBill needs to review your site content to ensure its compliance with our AUP and Terms and Conditions prior to your service being activated. We try to review your site as quickly as possible, typically within one hour of submission.
Back to the topYes, the Merchant Signup allows you to set a higher minimum payout for each payment type, up to $1000.
